How I thinkI trace every problem back to its cause instead of treating the symptom. Where circumstances allow, I would rather spend a little more time and fix it at the root. I think logically and without prejudice, about people as much as about technology, and I value authenticity over appearances.

How I workFocused, on my own or in a team. I treat people with consideration and respect and choose my words with care. A question from me is never a demand. I deliver what I am asked to, and when I see a better way, I suggest it openly without undermining anyone. Among colleagues it is give and take: I am happy to give a little more at first, but not forever.

What keeps me curiousWhat keeps me in the job is not the technology itself, but the state where everything runs and nobody has to think about the fact that it is running.

Continuously in IT since September 2018, and since February 2022 in the global administrator role for the IT of a corporate group: around 350 people at sites in four European countries, the two of us. The focus is virtualisation, identity and security. From 2026 the build-out and operation of the group’s AI platforms came on top, including roles, licences, usage policy and training in German and English. I passed the Fundamental IT Engineer Examination in 2026. I am looking for a role in AI platform and infrastructure work in Tokyo.
