Continuously in IT since September 2018, and since February 2022 in the global administrator role for the IT of a corporate group: around 350 people at sites in four European countries, the two of us. The focus is virtualisation, identity and security. From 2026 the build-out and operation of the group’s AI platforms came on top, including roles, licences, usage policy and training in German and English. I passed the Fundamental IT Engineer Examination in 2026. I am looking for a role in AI platform and infrastructure work in Tokyo.

Platform and virtualisation
Operation of a hyperconverged virtualisation environment together with database, file and licence servers. Storage and backup operations including restore tests.
Identity and security
Directory service, name and address management. Firewall and core network operations, group-wide endpoint protection. User and permission management across the whole lifecycle. Patch management.
Cloud and workplace
Administration of the Microsoft 365 environment and the group-wide licence estate.
Applications and site operations
Care of the application estate from ERP through CRM, DMS and PIM to CMS and ticketing. Cross-site support for endpoints, local network, meeting rooms and access systems.
